Tending for a Cause
Our passion isn't just beer — it's our community. Every other Wednesday from 5:00–7:00 PM, $1 from each pint and all tips earned go to a local nonprofit.

Tending for a Cause is our way of giving back to the community that has supported us so much. We may be the home of Tending for a Cause, but the true heroes are the nonprofit organizations working to make our community better.

Plan & prepare
Booking
Your organization must be a registered Minnesota nonprofit located within 30 miles of St. Cloud. Accepted organizations are at the sole discretion of Beaver Island Brewing, and dates are scheduled first-come, first-served.
Advertising
Create a Facebook event at least one month in advance and add us as a co-host through your organization's page. Spread the word with posters, flyers, email, your website, and social media — and include our logo on your materials.
Hosting
Arrive 30 minutes early for setup and beertender training. Bring two volunteer "celebrity beertenders" (21+, no experience needed — we'll train them and help behind the bar). Bring banners, wear your logo, and set out materials about your organization.
Good to know
Events happen rain, shine, snow, or cold. Donation checks are mailed within 12 weeks via USPS — provide your official nonprofit name and address when you schedule. Questions welcome anytime at [email protected].
